When your wellness holiday is more than just relaxation
What if your stay at the Krallerhof wasn't just a break from everyday life – but a turning point for your body, mind and the environment?
A place where responsibility is tangible
The Krallerhof stands for a combination of relaxation and awareness. For years, targeted measures have been taken to reduce the impact on nature while increasing comfort. Our mountain world not only provides us with a dreamlike backdrop, but also a habitat – and this must be preserved.
Energy that comes from nature
More than 700 trees have been planted around the Krallerhof in recent years. Energy is generated on site – by a photovoltaic system and the hotel's own biomass heating plant. The entire hotel operation runs without nuclear power, while LED lighting and digital solutions such as the guest folder save additional valuable resources.
Enjoyment with provenance and responsibility
Cuisine at the Krallerhof means regionality and quality:
- Over half of the food comes from the surrounding area.
- Fruit, vegetables, grains and dairy products are sourced organically wherever possible.
- Meat comes from animals raised in a species-appropriate manner.
- Careful planning prevents food waste.
This means you can enjoy the finest culinary art with a clear conscience – straight from the region.
Acting consciously in everyday hotel life
From eco-certified cleaning to refillable dispensers in the rooms: the Krallerhof focuses on solutions that work. Its own laundry, waste prevention with reusable solutions such as Wolkenschuhen (cloud shoes) and regional building materials show that every area has been carefully thought out. Green roofs and facades also create a microclimate that benefits nature.
Responsibility for people and community
Not only the environment, but also people are at the centre of attention:
- Fair pay and long-term employment contracts.
- Personal development through coaching and further training.
- Own staff accommodation for a stable, appreciative environment.
This creates a community that strengthens each other.
Longevity Retreats – Routines for a new life
The retreats at Krallerhof are designed to help you develop routines that will have a lasting effect long after your holiday is over. Breathing exercises, mindfulness, nutrition and exercise are combined to create a concept that can change your life for the better.
Your moment of change
When you see the woman meditating in our picture, it is more than just a motif – it is an invitation: retreat, breathe, observe, feel. Every corner of the Krallerhof – from the green spaces to the culinary selection – supports you in this.
Michaela Altenberger (hostess at Krallerhof) is convinced:
A stay can be more than just relaxation. It can be the beginning of a change – for you, for your life and for the world around you.
