Instead of the traditional handshake we offer guests a verbal greeting – or simply a friendly smile, an appreciative nod or another form of acknowledging their arrival.
Be mindful and respect the general guidelines for social distancing, keeping you and others safe.
Public and private spaces
The extensive hotel gardens and vast open landscapes surrounding our hotels, as well as the generous spa facilities and large numbers of quiet rooms, private terraces and balconies in our rooms and suites ensure plenty of privacy and opportunities to practice social distancing. We also offer private spa rituals. For more information, please ask at reception.
Disinfection and hand sanitation
Disinfectant dispensers have been installed in all public areas, especially at the entrance to the spa, to the lifts or at the doorway to the restaurant. Please make use of the dispensers and wash your hands frequently.
To avoid unnecessary wait times at the hotel we offer the option to check-in or check-out by phone. We will gladly arrange for a call to collect all relevant data. Alternatively, you may want to use the room telephone to call the reception. Credit card required.
We want you to feel safe and comfortable throughout your stay, beginning with your daily breakfast. To ensure you can enjoy every meal from breakfast and lunch to afternoon snack and dinner, we have taken special measures to ensure your safety and accommodate social distancing. Please ask a member in the service team for more information and let us know if you require assistance. We will be happy to serve you at your table.
Complying with official Austrian recommendations, we provide each guest with a space of 10m² during their visit to one of our saunas. At the entrance to each sauna you will find all relevant information.
The steam baths are open. Detailed instructions for proper use are provided at the entrance or the spa or hotel reception.
Complying with official Austrian recommendations, we also limit the number of guests allowed into our indoor pools, ensuring that each guest has a surface of 6m² to themselves. Please read the instructions provided at the entrance to the pool area. Social distancing is also practiced in our Jacuzzis.
Outdoor pools and loungers
Guests are encouraged to use the extensive garden facilities and relax on the designated loungers arranged to ensure appropriate distancing.
All public areas, including our quiet rooms have been carefully rearranged to accommodate social distancing. Please use the towels provided in your room to cover loungers or chairs in the spa area before you take your well-deserved time-out and simply relax.
All our spa treatments can be enjoyed as usual.
Indoor and outdoor activities
We are working hard to ensure guests can enjoy the full range of activities provided by our hotels, yet have limited the number of participants for each of our offers. Advance registration is required. Additionally, we have created a special programme of healthy activities outside in nature. Please talk to our team to learn more.
The gym facilities are accessible as usual, yet have been reconfigured and adjusted to allow for physical distancing. Stringent cleaning and disinfection protocols are employed here as in any other area of the hotel.
Childcare is offered in small groups and outside in nature whenever possible. Advance registration is kindly requested.
Cleaning and disinfection
Best Alpine Wellness Hotels is committed to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness. Continuous assessment of stringent cleaning procedures and certified cleaning agents ensure a safe and healthy stay for all our guests. In the light of COVID-19, we have enhanced our long-established stringent cleaning programme to take into account official recommendations.
In the light of the current situation, our stringent cleaning procedures have been further enhanced such as by the increased use of disinfectants. Extra blankets and cushions have been removed while pillows and mattress toppers will continue to be washed at a high temperature.
The proper functioning of ventilation equipment has been checked, ensuring that it complies with the latest requirements. Please note that rooms should be ventilated daily for a healthy room climate.
Our team has been thoroughly trained and informed of official measures to be taken to protect their health and that of others. Each member commits to document their health and to stay at home as soon as they have any symptoms of sickness or feel unwell.
Complying with government regulations, each member in our team interacting with guests is tested for COVID-19 at regular intervals.
If you have shown any of the symptoms related to COVID-19, please stay at home. If you experience symptoms back at home, we ask that you contact us and inform a member in our team so that we can take further measures.
We politely request that guests who show any of the symptoms related to COVID-19 stay in their room and inform our team by telephone. Please do not leave your room until further instruction is given.
The most common symptoms include: fever, dry cough, tiredness, aches and pains, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis, rashes or a loss of sense of smell or taste.
