Brine Bath

Brine baths have a salt content of 6-30%. The temperature of the bath is approx. 35° C. A brine bath should last around 12 minutes; afterwards you should rest for 30 minutes without showering in order to allow the salt to take effect on your skin. Warm brine baths release toxic substances from the skin, promote sweating and stimulate circulation. Brine baths can also be used for disorders of the respiratory tract, the skin or joints.
