Alexander Technique

The Alexander technique is a method to optimise posture and hence correct harmful positions through movement and posture exercises. This technique was developed by F.M. Alexander and is aimed at a more conscious perception of daily movements (standing, walking, sitting, lying, etc.). The goal is to learn again natural control of posture and movement. Experimental movements, stimuli through touch and exercises to heighten bodily perception are aimed at reducing stress, muscle tension and pain as well as improving posture, balance and coordination.
