Markus Scheyrer is a proud Tyrolean with a love for Asian culture. He joined the Astoria team in 1986. Today, it’s almost impossible to imagine the hotel without him. He originally started out as a lifeguard and pool manager. His thirst for knowledge and exceptional drive to learn has inspired him to qualify as a medical massage therapist, Pilates instructor and Qigong master. He even has profound experience in the practice of Shiatsu. Markus Scheyrer looks back on over 30 years of experience and will be glad to use his extensive knowledge to help you make the most of your stay, no matter your motivation to visit.

Markus Scheyrer’s speciality lies in myofascial release: “The benefits of targeted treatment of the fascia are manifold. It’s not rare for guests to leave my sessions pain-free.” 

Markus Scheyrer lives in Telfs, only a short distance from beautiful Seefeld. Alpine nature is his source of inspiration and motivation. In his leisure time, he enjoys Nordic walking and hiking through his beloved mountains.
